Breach and Legion

This atlas strategy is the ultimate test of your character's clear speed. By combining Breach and Legion, you transform every open map into a massive battlefield filled with thousands of highly rewarding monsters.

Legion requires you to break out frozen armies as quickly as possible, which drops highly valuable incubators, timeless splinters, and raw currency. Breach complements this perfectly by spawning expanding rings of dense monster packs that yield their own lucrative splinters and unique items. Both mechanics scale incredibly well together because they reward the exact same playstyle: moving fast and dealing massive area damage.

Because you are spawning such an overwhelming number of monsters, this strategy thrives in wide, open map layouts like Dunes or Jungle Valley. Running Eldritch (blue) or Exarch (red) altars is highly recommended to multiply your loot drops. The increased pack size and item quantity from altars scale exponentially with the natural density of both Breach and Legion encounters.
