Tactical Explosions: Expedition, Scarabs, and Eldritch Altars

This atlas strategy is designed for players who prefer a calculated approach to endgame farming. By focusing heavily on Expedition, you gain total control over the difficulty and rewards of your encounters, making it one of the most reliable ways to generate currency and craftable gear.

Investing in Scarab nodes is the perfect complement to this setup. Scarabs allow you to consistently force Expedition encounters in your maps and multiply the number of valuable Runic monsters you fight. This keeps your upfront investment extremely low while guaranteeing you see your primary league mechanic every single run.

Expedition remains an absolute powerhouse for steady profit. You can farm reroll artifacts to barter with Tujen for raw currency, or use Rog to craft powerful early endgame gear. You dictate exactly how hard the encounter gets by choosing which remnants to blow up.

To maximize your map returns, this strategy incorporates Eldritch (blue) altars. The Eater of Worlds influence spawns massive packs of monsters that drop highly valuable Eldritch currency and sustain your map pool. The blue altars also provide excellent quantity and rarity buffs to amplify your loot before you detonate your Expedition explosives.

Disclaimer: This setup requires you to pay close attention while playing. Detonating the wrong Expedition remnant can make monsters completely immune to your damage type, and stacking too many punishing Eldritch altar debuffs will quickly overwhelm even the most defensive characters.
